Woon Arts

By commissioning my work, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following terms:

TL;DR: Woon's Commission Terms

  • Complexity/comfort may affect acceptance.

πŸ•°οΈ Turnaround

  • Depends on complexity and approval times.

  • 2D sketches: 1–3 days (batched).

  • 2D flats: Up to a week.

  • 2D render: 1~2 weeks, more if needing to change elements.

  • 3D: 3–5 weeks.

Intellectual Property And Deliverables

  • I offer commissions exclusively in digital format.

  • Finished artwork will be delivered via email, discord, or FA notes as files (if applicable) and a link to a drive where the files are hosted. Please note that due to machine mishaps I may not retain all pieces indefinitely, so it's the commissioner's responsibility to save and store the completed work upon receipt.

  • My artwork is intended for personal or private use only. If you're interested in commercial use, please discuss it with me beforehand so we can agree on the terms.

  • I retain all rights to my work (please credit), unless we've specifically agreed otherwise before payment which will accrue a special cost. For example, 3D printing for personal use vs 3D printing for merch; virtual Tabletop mini vs commercial game model usage.

  • Please note that no one else is permitted to edit, trace or copy the art with the intention to pass it off as theirs, or remove the signature or model metadata from the finished product(s). What you can do with your commissioned piece: color in lineart/sketch pieces, use image-editors to make collages or remixes, etc, always crediting the original art.

Process Overview

  • I reserve the right to decline any commission request for any reason. I may cancel a commission at any time with a full refund provided to the commissioner. Common sense reasons include: break of ToS. Refer to What Will I Draw or Model?

  • Full payment is required upfront unless we agree on a payment plan. E.g: 50-50, 40-30-30, etc. I do not accept payment plans for totals of 150€ and below.

  • Instant-type payment is necessary; I.e: Paypal.

  • For visual references: 2D visual references are accepted; 3D or shaded references must be very clear on local color.

  • Excellent 2D reference includes: character turnaround, expression sheets, design and outfit callout, material reference. Anatomy sheets are a must for OC or unconventional fantasy species.

  • Good 2D reference can be previous artwork of your character from various angles and poses. Must have a color palette for local colors inlcuded.

  • Good 3D/Shade reference must be able to show the local color of the design. Lighting should be neutral in this case.

  • If you are going for a grey base model (for 3d printing, for example) then you do not need to provide a color palette.

  • Upon completion, you'll receive:

  • For 2D, a set of images (high-resolution, optimized, watermarked) via FA note, discord, or email, with a link to a Drive where the files are hosted. The hi-res image is for your private use only and you're welcome to make a personal print.

  • For 3D, the file collection may be a bit heavy depending on the items and texture resolution. This deliverable will be hosted on my Drive for you to download as I will send you the link via FA note and/or email.

  • You can share the optimized and smaller, watermarked version in your gallery or elsewhere, but please include a credit link or mention my full commission artist name: woonarts.

  • Revisions and changes:

  • For sketches, I will only make one change after the fact with a compelling reason due to being made in batches. They are meant to be quick for the price, so please put in the reference section of the form the pose and elements you wish to see in the sketch.

  • For flats and rendered pieces, there are stages that you can ask for major changes. Sketch, lineart, and for render, you have the flats stage as the last chance for changes.

  • For 3D models, there are several stages where the commissioner can request major changes. The sketch phase for pose approval, the color sketch approval (if applicable), greybox model phase before high poly sculpting and hand-painting textures (if applicable). After the greybox model approval and once I started high poly sculpting, there are no changes allowed.

Payment Policy

  • Currency is in Euro (€)

  • Full payment is required via invoice only, and it must be paid within 48 hours. If the invoice isn't paid within this timeframe, your commission will be denied and I'll cancel the invoice.

  • If payment plan is discussed and agreed, then the agreed initial amount will be due in the 48 hours. If the initial payment is missing, I will cancel the invoice and move on with the next person.

  • If subsequent installments and deadlines aren't met as discussed, I'll refund the amount paid and move on to the next person.

  • Please do not send money directly (unless it's the commission paid through Ko-fi); I will send you an invoice via Paypal.

  • No eChecks, please, it takes a week to clear and I won't start the commission until it clears. Cryptocurrency is also not accepted as payment because I have no idea how to use it ( ‒́ β–Ύ β€’Μ€ ).

  • There is a TIP option in the form if you only wish to donate and do not want a commission done.

Refunds

  • You may request a refund at any point during the process, up until I begin shading (2D) or high poly sculpting (3D).

  • No refunds will be given for a completed piece or once specific stages have been reached. Stages: render (2D) or high poly sculpting (3D).

  • 2D:

  • (illustration only) Refund during the flats stage, you'll receive 30% of the total commission price.

  • (illustration only) Refund during the lineart stage, you'll receive 50% of the total commission price.

  • Refund during the sketch stage, you'll receive 70% of the total commission price.

  • 3D:

  • Refund during the greybox model stage, you'll receive 50% of the total commission price.

  • Refund during the color approval stage, you'll receive 70% of the total commission price.

  • Request a refund during the pose sketch stage, you'll receive 90% of the total commission price.

  • A full refund is available only if requested before I start work on the piece. There can be very exceptional circumstances where I allow a full refund during the work, including within the no-refund stages, however.

  • Refunds will be handled solely by me; chargebacks or disputes are not permitted.
